Nadie.

Alabado seas, Nadie.
Queremos por tu amor
florecer
contra
ti.

Una nada
fuimos, somos, seremos,
floreciendo:
rosa de
nada, de nadie.

Con
el pistilo almalúcido,
cielo desierto el estambre,
la corola roja
de la palabra purpúrea que cantamos
sobre, o sobre
la espina.

De "La rosa de nadie" 1963

Nature boy / David Bowie

Tim Egloff's choice

There was a boy
A very strange enchanted boy
They say he wandered very far, very far
Over land and sea
A little shy
And sad of eye
But very wise
Was he

And then one day
One magic day he passed my way
While we spoke of many things, fools and kings
This he said to me
"The greatest thing
You'll ever learn
Is just to love
And be loved
In return"

Das Naturtheater von Oklahoma

Muy cerca de lo que podría ser. / Really close to what it could be.

Thanks, Thorsten!

Fruehlingstraum (Winterreise) / Schubert

Silja von Kriegstein's choice.

Ich träumte von bunten Blumen,
So wie sie wohl blühen im Mai;
Ich träumte von grünen Wiesen,
Von lustigem Vogelgeschrei.

Und als die Hähne krähten,
Da ward mein Auge wach;
Da war es kalt und finster,
Es schrien die Raben vom Dach.

Doch an den Fensterscheiben,
Wer malte die Blätter da?
Ihr lacht wohl über den Träumer,
Der Blumen im Winter sah?

Ich träumte von Lieb um Liebe,
Von einer schönen Maid,
Von Herzen und von Küssen,
Von Wonne und Seligkeit.

Und als die Hähne krähten,
Da ward mein Herze wach;
Nun sitz' ich hier alleine
Und denke dem Traume nach.

Die Augen schließ' ich wieder,
Noch schlägt das Herz so warm.
Wann grünt ihr Blätter am Fenster?
Wann halt' ich mein Liebchen im Arm?

He soñado con coloridas flores,
De las que florecen en mayo.
He soñado con verdes praderas,
Con los alegres cantos de los pájaros.

¡Y cuando cantaron los gallos,
se abrieron mis ojos!
Hacía frío y estaba oscuro,
Los cuervos graznaban desde el tejado.

Pero en el cristal de las ventanas,
¿Quién ha pintado hojas allí?
¿Quizás os burlabais del soñador
que ha visto flores en el invierno?

Soñé con el amor correspondido
De una hermosa doncella
De corazones y besos
De deleite y bienaventuranza.

¡Y cuando cantaron los gallos
se despertó mi corazón!
Y ahora, aquí estoy sentado, solo,
Y medito sobre mi sueño.

Nuevamente cierro los ojos,
aún late el corazón, tan cálido.
¿Cuándo verdecerán en la ventana las hojas?
¿Cuándo tendré a mi amada en mis brazos?

Humming Chorus (Madama Butterfly) / Puccini

Alejandro Tantanian's choice

Verdi prati (Alcina) / Händel

Alejandro Tantanian's choice

Verdi prati, selve amene,
perderete la beltà.
Vaghi fior, correnti rivi,
la vaghezza, la bellezza
presto in voi si cagerà.
E cangiato il vago oggetto
all orror del primo aspetto
tutto in voi ritornerà.

Road to Nowhere (Live at Union Chapel) / David Byrne

Thorsten Danner's choice

Well we know where we're goin'
But we don't know where we've been
And we know what we're knowin'
But we can't say what we've seen

And we're not little children
And we know what we want
And the future is certain
Give us time to work it out

We're on a road to nowhere
Come on inside
Takin' that ride to nowhere
We'll take that ride

Im feelin' okay this mornin'
And you know,
We're on the road to paradise
Here we go, here we go

We're on a road to nowhere
Come on inside
Takin' that ride to nowhere
We'll take that ride

Maybe you wonder where you are
I dont care
Here is where time is on our side
Take you there... take you there

We're on a road to nowhere
We're on a road to nowhere
We're on a road to nowhere

There's a city in my mind
Come along and take that ride
And it's all right, baby, it's all right

And it's very far away
But it's growing day by day
And it's all right, baby, it's all right

They can tell you what to do
But they'll make a fool of you
And it's all right, baby, it's all right

We're on a road to nowhere
We're on a road to nowhere
We're on a road to nowhere

Leaving on a Jet Plane / John Denver

Michael Fuchs' choice

Smile / Nat King Cole

Peter Pearce's choice

Smile though your heart is aching
Smile even though it's breaking
When there are clouds in the sky, you'll get by
If you smile through your fear and sorrow
Smile and maybe tomorrow
You'll see the sun come shining through for you.

Light up your face with gladness
Hide every trace of sadness
Although a tear may be ever so near
That's the time you must keep on trying
Smile, what's the use of crying?
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just smile.

That's the time you must keep on trying
Smile, what's the use of crying?
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just smile.

Smile: Charlie Chaplin (Modern Times, 1936)

Nada más por decir / And nothing more to say

Gotta Move / Barbra Streisand

Peter Pearce's choice

Gotta move, gotta get out
Gotta leave this place, gotta find some place
Some other place, some brand new place

Some place where each face that I see
Won't be staring back at me
Telling me what to be and how to be it
Some place where I can just be me
Gotta move, got to get out
Gotta leave this town, gotta find some town
Some big new town, some bright new town
Some new town with new places, new lights
And most of all some new faces
Gotta find a man, a new man
A man who won't worry 'bout where I go
A man who wont ask how I learned what I know
A man who will know that I've gotta be free
A man who will know when to just let me be
Gotta move, gotta get out
Gotta change my life, gotta find my life
I'll find me a place in some new town and baby
And when I find me that new place, then maybe I
Gotta leave this town, gotta leave this place
Gotta find a new man...Gotta move!

Las últimas palabras de Kafka / Kafka's last words

Escribiendo no he pagado mi rescate. Toda mi vida he muerto, y ahora voy a morir realmente.

Home (Beauty and the Beast) / Alan Menken

Peter Pearce's choice

Yes, I made the choice
For papa, I will stay
But I don't deserve to lose my freedom in this way
You monster!
If you think that what you've done is right, well then
You're a fool!
Think again!
Is this home?
Is this where I should learn to be happy?
Never dreamed
That a home could be dark and cold

I was told ev'ry day in my childhood:
Even when we grow old
Home will be where the heart is
Never where words so true!
My heart's far, far away
Home is too
Is this home
Is this what I must learn to believe in
Try to find
Something good in this tragic place
Just in case
I should stay here forever
Held in this empty space
Oh, that won't be easy
I know the reason why
My heart's far, far away
Home's a lie
What I'd give to return
To the life that I knew lately
But I know that I can't
Solve my problems going back
Is this home?
Am I here for a day or forever?
Shut away
From the world until who knows when
Oh, but then
As my life has been altered once
It can change again
Build higher walls around me
Change ev'ry lock and key
Nothing lasts, nothing holds
All of me
My heart's far, far away
Home and free!
